College sports recruiting is big business. Coaches receive video from hundreds if not thousands of athletes each year. All of these athletes believe they are right for that school, and of course many of them will end up there. But how do you set yourself apart? How do you grab the attention of the coaches? We have a three step process to accomplish that, and to put you on the path to the school of your choice.
One of the most important things an athlete can do is have a video available highlighting their skills. But in many cases the athlete may not always be on the forefront, or the video might not clearly show the number or other identifying characteristic. We have developed a way to highlight the athlete no matter what the situation, a lineman in football who makes a great block may get overshadowed by the running back with the ball, or the lacrosse player may be moving quickly so it is hard to identify which player has the ball or is making the play. These days most college coaches have access to e-mail which provides you with another tool in your toolbox to help sell your athlete to the college of their choice. Having your child's video on the web is a huge advantage. Bear Zell Productions will host the page which will be completely customized to the athlete, along with the highlight video so that coaches can immediately see the impact that athlete may have at their school. We also offer in-season updates, so that as each game takes place we can update the site so that the interested schools can see real-time updates.
High school coaches have a lot to deal with on a day to day basis. This can sometimes slow down response time when a college coach has asked for a full DVD of the athlete. We will ship this information out to the school and notify you that this has been completed so you can keep track and follow up with the coach that made the request.
